It has finally come around again, it only seems like 365days ago we were starting 2009
Today was a glorious day weather wise, but alas decided to stay in and do stuff around the house including more tidying and sorting of christmas stuff. Again it was amazing to see how much cardboard, paper and plastic had been amassed with all those pressies. It was good to review all the fab items received and I hope everyone enjoyed theirs from the three of us.
I was looking through the guide that came with my gourmet club membership and wondered how I balance that with my new years resolution of eating less
There are certainly plenty of offers to keep us busy over the next year and looking forward to some great food.
For my other resolutions as already tweeted I shall be looking to try and do three 10K runs this year and take one photo everyday during 2010. I have set my site up ready for this activity at www.scouller.biz and now have selected my first photo which you can review on the site. But as we didn’t go out today it was a case of thinking about was could be used to capture New Years day 2010 so here are a few of the other shots that I took today.

Here was some pork & nutmeg sausages with the odd bottle of wine

Excellent Xmas as usual with some fab gifts that includes a much anticipated AMG driving experience, but there is a condition been set by CJ that I cannot bring one home
maybe two is the answer
Have the most excellent Star Trek (II) on BR and looking forward to getting home to watch as no BR player here
oh well I can always watch the lower res version. I also got Inglorious Barsterds so interested to see if it lives up to the reviews.
Photos of LCJ & Xmas
Well its almost here in the UK although it has already moved into Xmas down under
Someone has taken over our lounge and now we have little or no carpet….

But its OK as we have sounds while we work…

And of course a bottle or two

Merry Xmas everyone
On Saturday went to Pimlico to meet up with Claire, Adam and Bruno for his 2nd birthday and a good time was had by all in Pizza Express. This is the first time we have been to a PE for a while and the menu has changed a bit, but still good food. There were too many choices, but I managed to pick the Bruschetta con Funghi followed by a Romana Pizza Etna which had a nice spicy warm taste
This was followed by birthday cake which was very nice all washed down with Coke and Coffee.
This is was followed on Sunday by a trip to Jackie and Kens for Mothers day lunch where three generations of mothers congregated to bend the childrens ears and receive suitable offerings from said siblings
Food was good and desserts even better. Ate far too much and no doubt will suffer over the rest of the week..
LCJ purchased for his mummy an electronic photo frame with suitable pictures of himself, it’s amazing what youngsters can do these days
